Pariah High was once the most prestigious and beatific academy in Gabriel City. The seaside boarding school was where all parents wanted their children to attend, and where the students were cared for and received the highest education.

But all that changed fifteen years ago, when a student, who shall remain anonymous, had a psychological meltdown and vented his uncontrolled rage on fellow students, the faculty, and ultimately the school by setting the place aflame and trapping everyone including himself inside. The fire was only stopped after much of the building had been destroyed, and the deaths tolled in over a hundred.

Many thought this would be the end of the school's history forever, but soon after the horrible incident a man by the name of Aeric Fabrizio had a brilliant idea. Why not make this school an example for everyone? So, he poured his hefty inheritance into turning the once gifted boarding school into a reform school for troubled youth.

The school was repaired within nine years, and the townsfolk were eager to see how the academy had been improved. Mr.Fabrizio was gushing with pride, and just as eager as the townspeople to see the fruits of his efforts. Unfortunately, just as students were being shipped to the school from all across the country, Mr.Fabrizio was died in a mysterious accident at the school. His body was found dangling from a light on the school roof, he'd been hung by his own tie. Police marked it off as a simple suicide, or a freak accident, but rumors have spread that the school has more secrets then it lets on.

Now, in a new year, with a new principal, Pariah High has opened its doors to troubled youth. The delinquent, the abandoned, the just plain attitude problemed, and even a few poor normal kids here and there are starting their education at this newly opened boarding school.

Everything should be wonderful, at least that's what the pamphlets say. But what secrets reside here at the school? Besides the drama of the student body and staff, anyway. And is the silliest, the most superstitious of all rumors true. Is Pariah home not only to the new students, but to the students and staff who never had a chance to leave...?
