Lore stuck her head in the sink, which was almost full with water and hand sanitizer. Was she suicidal? Was this some odd ritual? Nope. It was actually quite simple: her face was coated with gum. Lore was never very good with gum, and it was sure to get stuck on something, whether on purpose or not. Today she had tried to blow the "biggest bubble in the world" and had succeeded...in popping it all over her face and in her hair.
She made a face at the mirror, most of the pink gum gone, but her face now red and her hair sopping wet. She sighed, already having a bad morning and it wasn't even lunch. She made a move to leave the bathroom when she noticed something propped against a wall. A purse? A pretty nice purse. Lore knelt down and began to sift through its contents. Not much was in it, but it would do for a quick steal. She fingered the few bills she found in it and moved to tuck them in her jean pocket.
